Adobe today announced the immediate availability of Creative Cloud Express, a new web and mobile app for creatives.
“Everyone has a story to tell and it’s our mission to empower everyone to express their ideas,” Adobe executive vice president Scott Belsky said. “In this unique time, where millions of people are building a personal and professional brand, we’re excited to launch Creative Cloud Express as a simple, template-based tool that unifies the creation, collaboration, and sharing process so anyone can create with ease.”
Unlike the existing Creative Cloud offering, which is a subscription service aimed at professional creators that provides multiple applications and services across desktop, mobile, and web, Creative Cloud Express is a free and unified experience for non-professionals on both web and mobile, and there’s a premium subscription version for $9.99 per month.
Adobe Creative Cloud Express offers a template-based user interface for accomplishing specific tasks across social media and other online publications. It also provides access to the 175 million images in the Adobe Stock library, over 20,000 fonts, and a library of useful creative tools. For example, one tool will remove the background from an image, similar to a feature in Photoshop, while another will convert a video to a GIF.
