Here’s what’s new this month.
Achievements improvements on mobile. Microsoft is bringing achievements back to the Xbox app for Android and iPhone, and later this month it will add monthly leaderboards so you can see how you compare with your friends and the ability to view achievements on game detail pages.
Play with Friends on console. A new Play with Friends option now appears when friends are playing any Xbox Game Pass title so you can join a multiplayer session or install the games your friends are currently playing.
Xbox Game Pass recommendations on console. Xbox Game Pass will soon provide recommendations and collections on console, helping you to discover new games based on your history or what your friends are doing. More collections for first-person shooters, science fiction, horror, sandbox, mystery, anime, fantasy, cute, and more are coming soon as well.
Suspend game on console. A new suspend game feature in My games & apps will warn you when an active game is slowing download speeds and give you the option to suspend the active game to free up bandwidth and get better download speeds. Thanks to Quick Resume, you can jump right back into your game whenever you want to start playing again.
