In celebration of the 20th anniversary of Xbox, Microsoft has added an astonishing 70+ new games to the Xbox Backward Compatibility library.

“Today, we’re excited to add 70+ Xbox 360 and original Xbox games to our backward compatibility catalog in celebration of our 20th anniversary,” Microsoft’s Peggy Lo writes in the announcement post. “This includes many of your top requested favorites.”

Those favorites include:

Max Payne. The entire Max Payne series is now playable on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles for the first time.

F.E.A.R. The F.E.A.R. franchise is also now playable on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles for the very first time.

Skate. The entire Skate franchise is now complete with the addition of Skate 2 and playable on both Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.

OG Xbox games. Over 20 original Xbox titles are included in this release, including Dead or Alive Ultimate, Star Wars: Jedi Knight II, Star Wars: Starfighter, and the Otogi franchise.

Microsoft says that you can play these games today if you own them on disc or digitally, and most of them can be purchased digitally by new players in the Microsoft Store too.
