Today, OnePlus announced its new OnePlus Buds Z2 truly wireless earbuds with active noise cancelation and Dolby Atmos capabilities.

“The OnePlus Buds Z2 are an important milestone for OnePlus’s range of portable audio products,” OnePlus founder Pete Lau said. “The Buds Z2 deliver exceptional active noise cancellation technology, a quality audio experience, and outstanding battery life at a price point that’s more practical than ever before.”

The OnePlus Buds Z2 provide the same 11-mm dynamic drivers as the firm’s flagship OnePlus Buds Pro headphones, but they add Dolby Atmos capabilities and noise cancelation up to 40 dB with a Transparency Mode that can let in the outside world. They support Google Fast Pair, and Bluetooth 5.2 with latency as low as 94-ms in Pro Gaming mode, and they provide three sound modes: Cinematic Movie, Immersive Music, and Mobile Gaming.

Compared to the first-generation Buds Z, the Z2s are lighter and sport 15 percent shorter stems. They provide up to 38 hours of total listening time (with the included charge case) and you add 5 hours of listening time with a 10-minute charge.

The OnePlus Buds Z2 retail for $99, are available in Obsidian Black and Pearl White, and they can be purchased on OnePlus.com.

OnePlus also revealed today that its Red Cable Club (RCC) is now available in North America for the first time. This free club is for fans of OnePlus that wish to engage further with its community of users, and it offers “perks, discounts, and promotions not available to the general public.”

You can learn more about the Red Cable Club from the OnePlus website.
